I absolutely loved Nightshade when I read it almost a year ago. And I was among the many that waited ever so anxiously for the release of the next book in the series. Once I got my hands on it... I had to read it... Nothing else mattered! Then, a few chapters in, I put it down for this.. read a little more... put it down again.... and so on. An entire week later and I'm finally finished. I guess the question here is... why did it take so long to finish? Honestly, the book was kinda boring. The action and mystery moments I loved in Nightshade were few and far between in Wolfsbane. Simply put, we've got a classic case of a filler novel. There's no other word for it. Nothing much really happens in this book. There's, dare I say, far to much explaining, and I'm still not sure if this was useful to the plot or pointless page filling... and very little if any actual movement for the story. And the ending... Ugh! Ok fine, its a cliff hanger...but I could have used a little bit more! I guess : / This book left me a bit disappointed but I loved it nonetheless. And there's no way I could give a favorite series like this any less than four stars... although it might have deserved a little less. All I can do now is hope the next one will be better! More Ren!!! Please that's all I ask!
