Review: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

 Summary
Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.
Review
If your looking for action packed books dipped with romance teasers and promises of surprises at every turn. I'd definitely recommend this series!

The entire trilogy took me on one emotional ride! The first book left me curios and begging for more... the second book kept me reading in search of answers... and the third book just blew me away completely! I wasn't prepared for the ending. Despite the numerous amounts of spoilers circling the blogger/twitter world. Part of me wishes I could have gone into this book spoiler free.. but sadly.. it is what it is. Perhaps I would have thought differently had I discovered things for myself. Instead I went into this book with a heavy heart... dreading the turn of a page... Wondering the entire time when that moment I'd been told about would come!

Besides all that... Let's talk about the actual book. These wolves had one heck of an adventure. Creative till the end. That part I really loved. Props to the authors writing.. she really knew how to keep a reader on edge!! I had my share of *gasp* and *OMG* moments.. that's for sure! Favorite part... The Romance! Not surprising coming from me. That's what I look forward to most in my reading. I'm a love traingle kinda gal! I've said it before. Kinda wish there had been more.. maybe just a bit. Although other readers that don't share my passion for passion probably wouldn't agree. LOL!

All in all this book had balance. Little bit of everything wrapped into one.. to make a pretty great read. Four stars from me.

  1. Ohhh I loved the love triangle in this one, I thought it was done really well because even Calla didn't really know who she wanted. It wasn't some creepy crap like, he loves her, she loves someone else who loves her back, that was all stalkerish like in Twilight HA! Great review, I felt the same way, and BAWLED like a baby in the end!!!
