This week's Topic
Books that broke your heart

If there's one thing I LOVE about books... It's when they make me cry. I'm a sucker for those heartbreaking tear jerkers! :)

Here's a list of a few that had me pulling out the tissues!
I've mentioned the Summer Series tons of times, It's a favorite of mine, and will always be a favorite of mine. This series is definitely one roller coaster ride of emotions! I cried, and cried, and cried again. But this particular book in the series had me gushing way more tears than normal. In other words.. This book was freakin awesome!

Did anyone else cry as much as I did at the end of this book?? This entire series definitely has it's share of tear filled moments. Common with a love triangle book.. Someone's gotta get hurt right.. *sniffles* I loved this book!! :')

There's one particular part of this book that just got to me. Right in the heart. One word... CASSIA!!!!! Why Ky screams that at the end. Yeah my heart literally broke and the tears hit overflow! That part made Ky one of my favorite characters and sealed this book at the top of my favorites list!

A lot of people may not have read this book yet.. but for the few that have.. you know exactly why this book's on my list! The ending where that thing happens (You know what I mean) haha! No spoilers here! If your at all curious what I'm talking about.. Well you'll just have to read the book for yourself! Let's just say.. I cried! ALOT!

The ending! OMG the ending! I wish I could explain more but I wouldn't wanna ruin it for anyone! Just know... You will cry! That's for sure!I've gotta say.. The ending is probably the reason why this is my favorite book in the entire series. It just brought out so much emotion, I just had to love it.

The ending to this series is a total surprise. Entirely unexpected and a bit overwhelming for me. My emotions just couldn't keep up. I cried so much I just can't explain it. This book is heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking.

There's not really much I can say about this book. Most people that have read it will agree... Dimirtri. The Ending. Enough said!

In Ashes i'm crying over Simon, In Glass I'm crying over Jace, in Fallen Angels.. I'm still crying over Jace!! Ok yeah.. This series makes me one big emotional mess! I can't help it. I've grown so close to the characters throughout this series... how could I possibly not cry when something goes wrong!

9.Torment - By Lauren Kate
There's one particular part of this book that just broke my heart. I wish I could name spoilers but I refuse. All I can say is it was heartbreaking. One of those moments when your glaring at the book and saying Why! Why did you do that!

I had to mention this book. It was the first book that came to mind when I thought heartbreak. The Bella / Edward breakup! My first book heartbreak was with this book. This series was what started my reading obsession, and that particular book is still my favorite of the four.

  1. Mockingjay killed me too. I can't believe Collins did what I didn't think she'd do.

  2. I've yet to read VA or TIF series but I'm looking forward to both. I also need to finish the Summer series. I've only read the first.

  3. I love how everyone has Mockingjay on their list today. I think that's the first book I still liked, but had a hard time reading. Matched had its moments for me, too.

  4. I'm with you on 5,6,8 and 10! I loved Shift and didn't make me cry, neither did VA. Great list!

  5. I cried a lot at the end of both Shade and Shift. Have you read Bridge - Logan's short story...BAWLED like a baby.
I didn't like Mockingjay so that broke my heart but in a different way than I'm sure you meant it.
    Good list.
