This week's question
What is the longest book you've read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?
My Answer
The first book that comes to mind was one of the first books that I thought..
"OMG that's one big book!"
The size of the book was actually one of the reasons why I took so long to read it.
But after picking it up and finishing it in nearly two days!
Well I guess size doesn't matter when your reading something great? Right?
Right! :)
I'm talking about The Host by Stephanie Meyer
I'm not exactly sure how many pages it is... but it's definitely more than 600! This is one big book!
One BIG AWESOME book!
:)
If you haven't read it yet.. You totally should! Trust me!
By the way...The movie trailer was just released yesterday!
In case you haven't seen it yet.. Here it is!

Have a Happy Follow Friday EVERYONE!
I love The Host!! I'm so excited for the movie to come out next year.
ReplyDeleteThe Host was such a great book, so much better than Twilight lol. Great pick! Old follower!

I loved Twilight, but I haven't read The Host :(
ReplyDeleteLiza’s Feature Friday
Then I suggest you read it soon! It's a truly awesome book! :)
DeleteGREAT pick! This was on my list of fave 600+ page reads too! And thanks for including the trailer, I had not seen yet. Pretty creepy. I think the movie is going to be awesome. Maybe we'll see the sequel to The Host soon too:)

I really loved that book too. I think the longest book I have read was The Dome by Stephen King. That book is over 1000 pages long, but it was fantastic! I read it in three days. (And that was just reading at night)
ReplyDeleteOh right! I read this one too. Thought it dragged a little bit. Movie comes out next year already! Nearly forgot that was in the works. and I thought I heard there were going to be another 2 books in this series. Not sure how legit that is though!

Haha that's my answer too! It's the only one I've read and I really enjoyed :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read The Host yet, but after that recommendation - it's on my to be read list.
ReplyDeleteI think the longest one I've read was some of the Harry Potter books. They're huge! :-D Or... one of Marian Keyes's books, they're pretty long too, about 600+ pages long. Yup. Either HP or The Brightest Star in the Sky :)
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about the HP books lol! Yeah their pretty big :)
DeleteI am determined to read this book in April...love your excitement over it!
ReplyDeleteI've yet to read that book but it has been on my to-read list for quite some time! I think the largest book I ever read was Mists of Avalon which came in at 912 pgs.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I can't decide if I like the teaser. It was kind of silly b/c all it was was images of people with the silvery eyes. Saoirse is a beautiful girl though.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
Ahaha I was a little bit scared too when I saw how long it was but then, it totally worth it!!
ReplyDeleteThe Host is amazing, I'm so excited about the movie, I'm not totally convinced by the choice of the actress for Melanie, actually.
However the longest book I've ever read was The Chronicles of Narnia, it was about 1500 pages, or more :)
I've been wanting to read The Host forever! The teaser trailer seems kind of cheesy to me but I'm loving that Saiirse is playing the main prtagonist!
ReplyDeletei read gone with the wind in 6th grade. that sucker is about 1000 pages! definitely the longest book i've ever read
ReplyDeleteIf you consider the fact that the version of The Lord of The Rings I read was the one that’s one book with the 3 parts inside (1202 pages in the brazilian version), that would be the longest book I’ve ever read. But if you consider series to favorite 600+ page reads, hands down, Harry Potter. Not so much for the story, but for the feeling it brings me every time I think about it.
ReplyDeleteI gave up on reading The Host, I just couldn't get into the story...
I'm a new follower, btw!

Is it bad that the trailer really creeps me out with all those icy blue eyes? And also great answer to FF!
