My Review of Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins! A great ending to an AMAZING trilogy! :)

 Summary
Hailed as “impossible to put down,” the Hex Hall series has both critics and teens cheering. With a winning combination of romance, action, magic and humor, this third volume will leave readers enchanted.

Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium. Or at least that’s what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn’t as confident.

Sophie’s bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it’s too late?
Review
I have so much praise to give to the Hex Hall Series, that I'm not even sure where to start. I've been taken with this series since book one. Sophie's witty remarks and sparkly personality definitely kept me reading. She's a great character and I'll follow her adventures anywhere! It's honestly sad that this is the last book in the series. Although I'm secretly hoping that it's not! *crosses fingers* *begs for more Hex Hall*... A fan can dream right? Regardless, I'm a Rachel Hawkins fan for sure!

This book was a perfect ending to the series. I have no complaints. I got the adventure I craved, the comedy that makes Hex Hall amazing, and the love triangle that I absolutely love to see! Although I'm a little bummed with the ending... still wiping a few tears away about that. I couldn't see it going any other way. The characters in this book were what made it all so interesting. I felt a mixture of emotions along the way. I laughed along with Sophie. I felt ever so proud of Elodie. Surprisingly! And Cal... Awwwwww.. I've got so much to say about Cal! But alas this review will remain spoiler free!

All in all, Spellbound was a pretty great read. Worthy of a five star rating from me. I really do love this series. It's got it's place on my favorites shelf for sure! :)

  4. Yes! I adore this series, too bad it's finished but that's better than needlessly dragging it.
