Summary
There's something strange and deadly loose in Philadelphia. . . .
Eleanor Fitt has a lot to worry about.
Her brother has gone missing, her family has fallen on hard times, and her mother is determined to marry her off to any rich young man who walks by. But this is nothing compared to what she's just read in the newspaper:
The Dead are rising in Philadelphia.
And then, in a frightening attack, a zombie delivers a letter to Eleanor . . . from her brother.
Whoever is controlling the Dead army has taken her brother as well. If Eleanor is going to find him, she'll have to venture into the lab of the notorious Spirit-Hunters, who protect the city from supernatural forces. But as Eleanor spends more time with the Spirit-Hunters, including the maddeningly stubborn yet handsome Daniel, the situation becomes dire. And now, not only is her reputation on the line, but her very life may hang in the balance.

My Thoughts
I'm thinking it's getting close to Halloween, and adding a few zombie books to the TBR seems fitting for the holiday! Right! Plus I hear this one's pretty good! :D
Summary
Forbidden love, intoxicating power, and the terror of control…
Raine
has always been a good girl. She lives by the rules in Freedom. After
all, they are her father’s rules: He’s the Director. It’s because of him
that Raine is willing to use her talent—a power so dangerous, no one
else is allowed to know about it. Not even her roommate, Vi.
All of that changes when Raine falls for Gunner. Raine’s got every
reason in the world to stay away from Gunn, but she just can’t.
Especially when she discovers his connection to Vi’s boyfriend, Zenn.
Raine has never known anyone as heavily brainwashed as Vi. Raine’s
father expects her to spy on Vi and report back to him. But Raine is
beginning to wonder what Vi knows that her father is so anxious to keep
hidden, and what might happen if she helps Vi remember it. She’s even
starting to suspect Vi’s secrets might involve Freedom’s newest
prisoner, the rebel Jag Barque….
My Thoughts
I just finished reading Possession (Part 1 in this series) and I totally loved it! Then I read the summary for part 2 and OMG I'm dieing to know what happens.. but should I read the books back to back? I don't normally do that? Hmmmmm.....
Summary
Why be the sheep, when you can be the wolf?
Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged
marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the
sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of
Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent
destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as
an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life,
she must destroy the lives of others.
Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?

My Thoughts
Everyone has been telling me to read this one!! EVERYONE! In fact, I think I've even featured it on a "What's Next" post in the past.. but the sheer thickness of this book has me hesitant.. I've got alot of books to read, do I have time for such a big one? I dunno?
So what cha think guys? What's Next for me?

Grave Mercy just because I'm interested in reading it myself and I just want to know if I should give it a try or not. I have very diverse reviews and ratings by my friends on goodreads so I'm kind of inbetween whether to read or not and I think it sounds awesome, but I'd be interested to see what you've got to say. However, all of them seem amazing and I can't even choose from my own huge TBR pile so I'm not that great recommender right now. Ha.
