Book Love 101: It's my stop on the Deity Blog Tour!!! I've got my reviews for Deity, Pure, AND Halfblood!

I'm so stoked to be part of the Deity blog tour!!! I'm a total JLA fan!!! I thought I'd take this opportunity to share why! For this stop, I'm gonna do alot more than simply post my review for Diety. I'm re-posting my reviews for Half Blood and Pure as well!!!

Tons of gushing, Tons of love, Tons of AWESOME!

Let the Covenant Series LOVE begin!

Let's start off with the book that started it ALL!

Summary

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures. Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden. Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

My Review

I went into this book knowing I was gonna love it. People have been gushing about it like crazy! And heck yeah, they were right! So right! I actually read Obsidian (another book by this AMAZING author) first and really really liked it. So I had no question in my mind that I wasn't gonna like this book as well. In fact, I might actually like this book a bit more! My review of Obsidian had one major point... I was totally head over heals for Daemon. Well.. hate to say it Daemon.. But Aiden St. Delphi might give ya a bit of competition! At least in my book he does! ;) I'm a total Aiden fan now! Sign me up for the Half Blood Legion! My only regret is that I waited so long to check out this author and these great books. They've become absolute favorites of mine that I plan to read over and over! 5 stars for this one for sure!!!

Summary

There is need. And then there is Fate
Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.
When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude or killing her.
When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

My Review

Books like this are the reason I read! I have to take my time while writing this review. It honestly deserves so much more than my usual gushing remarks. Gotta pull out the thesaurus for this one... What's another word for AWESOME? or BRILLIANT? How about freakin AMAZING!!!... This book was all that and more! I laughed, I cried... I smiled like a total goofball... ALOT! :D

This book was full of emotional, gut wrenching, heart breaking, breath holding moments! All put together to create pages full of greatness! Have I gushed enough? I think not!!! I haven't read a book that I've loved this much in a while. (And I've read alot of great books this year) This book tops all of those!

At the moment I'm actually fighting every urge to pick up the book and read it again! I didn't want it to stop! I only wish it were longer! 300 pages? Hardly enough! I need more! More Aiden, more Seth.. More ALEX! (She's freakin awesome!) No doubt.. Alex.. your my new favorite heroine!!!

I'm definitely gonna be praising this series for a while! 5 EPIC stars from me for this great book! I loved it! Love love LOVED it

My Review

I have so much to say about this book! So much adoration! So much praise! So much emotion! I’m an emotional mess! This series has taken me hostage and refuses to let go!
These books just get better and better! Deity left me grasping to the one and only, yet ever so important question… “Where do we go from this?” OMG I NEED TO KNOW!!! I want more! Need more! CRAVE MORE! The series demands it! I thought Pure was the epitome of AWESOME! Yes that indeed it was, but this book! This book goes right up there with it!

Jennifer L. Armentrout truly succeeded in creating an amazing world filled with a cast of characters that are simply unforgettable. If I thought I was an Aiden St. Delphi fan before, I’m definitely an Aiden St. Delphi fan NOW! The relationship between him and Alex pulled relentlessly at my heartstrings and left an ache that I won’t soon forget!
But with every love triangle, we have two sides. Aiden on one side, Seth on the other! I’ll be honest; I still have no idea whose side I’m on! Seth saw to that! He was pretty irresistible in Pure and now in Deity, well, let’s just say I’ve seen an all new side to Seth, and I THINK I LIKE IT! Every girl loves a bad boy right? More “bad boy” Seth please!
This book has once again proved this series worthy of my fan-girl obsession! Topped off with an ending that teased beyond all words, I’ve gotta say it! I’m hooked through and through! Hooked on this world, hooked on these characters, hooked on any and all of Jennifer’s writing! This author can do no wrong! Another five stars from me for yet another Jennifer L. Armentrout book! All I can say now is, GIVE ME MORE! ;)

I think the key word found in all my reviews is this.. MORE! These books make you want more, crave more, NEED MORE!!!! Good thing we've got two more books to go! Woot!

This book reader can't wait for Apollyon!!!
