    The world isnt ending the Mayan calendar is circluar; therefore the circle is starting over (think of a clock striking midnight) its awesome bc instead of 24 hours like a clock its a 50 year long calendar. :) So ya, no end of the world...................as an anthropology major this is getting really annoying.

    I had to reread Daughter of Smoke and Bone first, but then Days of Blood & Starlight picked up right where the first book ended. It was a great read and I couldn't put it down! Cannot wait for the next installment. I miss the angels and the chimera. I hope Laini gets it to us asap!

    "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" is a lush, tragic urban fantasy that crafts its own mythos, and has a solidly interesting heroine as well. Definitely a must-read for those tired of bad teen-girl/vampire romances.

    Daughter of Smoke and Bone is heavy on the imagery, you’ll want to google everything you can about Prague, the world building is beyond amazing and the story is absolutely unique and unlike anything I’ve read before. Clearly, I’m over simplifying my feelings and thoughts about this book but it’s the best I can do considering I’m not a writer.
