Review: Across The Universe - By Beth Revis

Summary:

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.

Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone - one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship - tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.

Now, Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

Review:
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this book. It was amazing and I'm so glad to say that i've read it. The whole story is so beyond anything I could ever imagine. Every page brought with it new questions and interest. I loved every word and I loved this world. I'd call it a sad story..maybe a bit tragic..but also honest and true. While I was reading I kept putting the book down just to ponder on the events..think about the emotions these characters were feeling and just relate to them on every level. I completely understand why they did what they did and felt what they felt, and that is what makes this book all the more beautiful. I was pulled into thier world from the very first chapter. I had so many questions and they were all answered! For once! And I agreed with those answers! For once! How often does a book go exactly like you want it to? Nearing the end I honestly hoped for a hint of more...give me a second book please!! This is definitely a 5 star read! Heck I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!!!
