My Review
I have to start this review off by complimenting the beauty of this book. One thing that I absolutely loved about Legend (Part 1) was the gold lettering through out the chapters. Yes, it is something simple, but something simple can really go a long way! In Prodigy, those gold letters are now blue, and I absolutely LOVED it yet again.
The story starts off right where book one ended. We're thrown back into the fight along with June and Day. Duel points of view chapters help us see the world through both sides. Yet another small detail that goes a long way! Those tiny tidbits make the book what is, AMAZING!
Prodigy definitely knows how to keep that suspense and mystery rolling. I wasn't sure who's side I was on! Who was right? Who was wrong? Who's telling the truth? Who's lieing? Talk about a way to keep the reader reading! I kept trying to make theories and guess the outcomes only to be totally blow away by the ending. It had a twist I totally didn't see coming! Gotta love those!
Throw those bits of romance, sprinkled with betrayal and doubt! Way to make a juicy read! This reader is all about the drama, and this book had it's fair share! Action, adventure, mystery, drama, romance, this book had it all!
If you haven't picked up this series yet, I would highly recommend it to anyone. Plain and simple, these books are great reads! And if you have read Legend already, and are still waiting for Prodigy to be released, allow me to say just one thing...
This book.. WORTH THE WAIT! Trust me!
Add another five stars from me for this book and this series! Legend and Prodigy have officially branded themselves onto my favorites list for good!
P.S. - *wipes away tears* *sniffles*... I'm still trying to get over that ending!

Summary
Prodigy is the long-awaited sequel to Legend, the must-read dystopian novel for all YA fans of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Divergent by Veronica Roth. A brilliant re-imagining of Les Miserables, the series is set to be a global film sensation as CBS films have acquired rights to the trilogy.
June
and Day arrive in Vegas just as the unthinkable happens: the Elector
Primo dies, and his son Anden takes his place. With the Republic edging
closer to chaos, the two join a group of Patriot rebels eager to help
Day rescue his brother and offer passage to the Colonies. They have only
one request—-June and Day must assassinate the new Elector.
It’s their chance to change the nation, to give voice to a people silenced for too long.
But
as June realizes this Elector is nothing like his father, she’s haunted
by the choice ahead. What if Anden is a new beginning? What if
revolution must be more than loss and vengeance, anger and blood—what if
the Patriots are wrong?
